Where is Action Automotive Service located?
We're located at 275 Marketplace Dr., Suite A, Rochester, NY 14623, right off Route 252 in Henrietta, just minutes from I-390 and the New York State Thruway (I-90), making us easy to reach from Rochester, Brighton, and all surrounding areas. We're in the same corridor as Marketplace Mall and the Walmart on Marketplace Drive.
What are your hours?
We're open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. We also offer early drop-off and night drop-off so you can leave your vehicle before or after business hours.
Is Action Automotive veteran-owned?
Yes! Action Automotive Service is a veteran-owned and operated business. We're proud to offer a 10% discount for Military, Veterans, and First Responders as a thank-you for your service.
Do you accept walk-in customers?
Absolutely. We welcome walk-ins and offer same-day service for many repairs. You can also schedule an appointment online.
Are your technicians certified?
Yes — all work is performed by ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified technicians, including ASE-certified Master Technicians.

Do you offer towing?
Yes! Action Automotive is one of the largest towing companies in Rochester, with a fleet of 25 trucks. We provide roadside assistance throughout Henrietta and the Greater Rochester area. Call us at (585) 358-0223, and we'll get someone to you quickly.
Do you service commercial fleets?
We do. We offer comprehensive fleet maintenance and repair for commercial vehicles and are approved by AAA, ARI, Voyager, and GE Fleet. Our parts come with a coast-to-coast warranty, and we offer a fleet discount program — just ask when you call.
GENERAL AUTO REPAIR TIPS
How often should I change my oil?
For most vehicles, every 5,000–7,500 miles is a good general guideline. Always check your owner's manual, and bring it in if you're unsure. The team at Action Automotive Service is happy to advise.
What does the check engine light mean?
It can mean many things, from a loose gas cap to a misfiring engine. Most importantly, do not ignore it. Bring your vehicle in, and our technicians will run a computer diagnostic scan to determine the exact issue before it becomes a bigger (and costlier) problem.
How often should I rotate my tires?
Tire rotation is generally recommended every 5,000–7,500 miles, or at every oil change. Regular rotation promotes even wear across all four tires.
What are the signs my car needs a wheel alignment?
Watch for uneven tire wear, the vehicle pulling to one side, a steering wheel that's off-center when driving straight, or vibration in the steering wheel. Poor alignment can cause premature tire wear and affect overall safety.
