I was in an accident recently and action towing was the company that was called to take my car away and be brought to their facility. The staff is extremely nice. I have no issues with anyone that is working in the office but the tow truck driver that took my car away that night went through my vehicle and stole my groceries and a couple other personal items, I understand that the ones who run the office it is not their fault but that shouldn’t be happening to people not only were my item stolen but my car was totaled and I lost my job due to this so it only added salt to the wound that was already exposed It’s disgusting that people like that exist and it’s disgusting that they have people hired at that company that exist like that. Unfortunately I’m not able to lock my car and take my key with me because they need to get in the vehicle to be able to tow the car. I just hope they can do better.

Jayden, We checked all the tapes and interviewed the driver. There was no evidence of any tampering on our part. I apologize for you string of bad luck but I can promise you no one here stole your groceries.

They don’t deserve one star! I have insurance with Gieco and they provide roadside for Gieco. I Called for a roadside assistance ETA and was greeted by a nasty dispatcher with an attitude! I informed the dispatcher the plastic piece that hold the tire in place was stuck and the tech would need a tool to remove it when he comes for service, the tech shows up with no tools at all and a attitude as well telling me dispatch didn’t notify him he would need a tool to remove the the plastic piece so he couldn’t help me and he left! I called dispatch back and ask him why he didn’t relay to the tech he would need a tool, the dispatcher immediately caught another attitude and told me the tech said he couldn’t remove the plastic piece because it was rusted which was a lie. i told him the piece was plastic and plastic DO NOT rust and he did nothing to help me! the dispatcher hung up the phone in my face completely rude and leaving me stranded at midnight I DO NOT RECOMMEND

First of all, I would like to apologize for the delay last night. Sometimes, regardless of how we try to staff accordingly workflow can get extremely backed up and we run into long delays. Your phone call to our dispatcher to tell them that you needed a tool to remove the tire Did not go on her, the drivers all carry a wide range of tools to accomplish the task we are faced. In your case, the plastic wingnut, which has a metal nut in bedded in it, failed. That nut rusted to the threaded bolt in your trunk from lack of use and moisture, and we were unable to remove it. As we explain to you, there’s no tool that will do that job. The only choice we have is to destroy both the thread and the wingnut to try to remove the tire or offer you a tow. It is Geico policy that if you need a tow you must contact the call center, even if we call for you, they will require to speak to you personally. You did not like this alternative and no matter how many times explain to you that it wasn’t a tool that was the issue. It was your defective car. You did not want to hear. If the dispatcher was rude I apologize as we were in a stressful situation with many cars holding. You were offered a tow, but did not want options you wanted the only solution you were willing to except. Once again, my apologies however, we have to follow the guidelines and if we break protocol and destroy your spare tire apparatus to make you happy in the moment yes, google complete would still be one star, and instead with narrate how this company destroys peoples property in an effort to do a job.

Awesome service. I've been there for service 3 times .Each time the work was done To my satisfaction. Price for work is very reasonable. I was easily able to. Communicate with the owner and mechanic. Also, I was also able to meet Molly the dog. So be sure to bring a Dog treat.🐕

I'm disappointed in Action Auto. In 2022 we brought my GFs Prius. They replaced rear pads and rotors on both sides to fix uneven wear of the rear driver side rotor. The outside of the rotor was rusty and pitted. (Likely caliper slide pins not sliding.). ~18 months later we brought the car for an oil change, they say it needs new calipers and pads in the rear, noteing the outside of the rear driver rotor is rusty and pitted. I guess they never bothered to free up those seized up slide pins. I expected that when I pointed out they had done a brake job on that car less than two years ago, it would have occurred to them that they messed up. They could have offered to make it right.

Kevin, 18 months later is the key to this issue.! 18 months and 15,482 miles is very long time for parts to fail again, especially in upstate NY weather. I understand your frustration and having to pay for automotive repairs, but your complaint is beyond unjustified.

I used AAA for a battery replacement service that was assigned to Action, they arrived in about 15 minutes, amazingly fast from my experience with AAA. The driver, Brian, was polite, courteous and communicative. He tested the battery and told me it could likely be good for another 4-6 months, I chose to have it replaced anyway as winter is just weeks away and wanted the user of the car not to have any issues. Unfortunately the hold down bolt broke and Brian had to take extraordinary steps to get me going, he went above and beyond to get the car back on the road. Additionally, the company took car of correcting the issue without question or pushback. The true test of a business is how they handle problems, Action handled this professionally and with great customer service. Thank you Sean and the team at Action.

Thankyou Dave
